Samhain Ceremony A Thinning Of The Veil

November 1st 1-6pm

Samhain is the Celtic name for this threshold, the night when the veil between the worlds grows thin, and the living and the dead stand closer than at any other point in the wheel of the year. Traditionally, Samhain spans between October 31st and November 1st, a portal held as one continuous threshold. We gather on the closing night of that portal, honoring the pull of the day many now call Halloween while holding this ceremony in its own sacred right.

The Ceremony Night

Before anything else begins, we honor the land holding us. This ceremony is not simply taking place on land, it is being held by it, from the moment you say yes. We open outdoors with a land and ancestor honoring, giving thanks to those who came before us here, and to the land itself as a living witness to this work.

From there, we move into ancestral altar work. Each person will have the chance to honor their own ancestors and lineage, and to make an offering to the altar we build together. This is sacred, personal work, held in community.

The journey continues with a guided meditation into the ancestral garden grove, imaginative and immersive, with music tailored to carry you deeper into that inner landscape. From there, we move into a live sound journey, gong, handpan, didgeridoo, flute, and bass guitar weaving together in real time, carrying you through the veil and into the ethers. We close with ceremony, and then come back to the table together, sharing food and presence as we return.

Held, Start to Finish

This is a held container, not a single night. It begins the moment you say yes, and it does not end when the ceremony does. Once you register, you'll schedule an individual intake call with me, so the space we build together is genuinely safe for your body and your nervous system, not safe in theory.

What's included in your container:

  • An individual intake call to prepare together, medically, mentally, and emotionally

  • Access to your ceremony portal, to help you arrive ready and grounded

  • An individual integration call after the ceremony, if you'd like one

  • A short guide for the equinox itself, so the container keeps holding you through those final days as the balance tips

Meet Your Facilitator

Dallas has been holding ceremonial space for over seven years, and has spent the last five working closely with this particular medicine in group containers. Her practice is woven through Druidic tradition, both studied and self taught, alongside relationships she has built on her own with the elements, with water, with the mushroom medicine, and with the breath. These are her deepest teachers. She is a sound practitioner and sound healer trained at the Globe Institute of Sound, and has held breathwork spaces for nearly a decade, trained at Alchemy of Breath. She will bring her instruments into this ceremony to hold the space in both sound and ritual. When she facilitates, it is a true weaving of these teachers, waking the memory and wisdom that already live naturally in each person she holds space for.

Meet Your Muscian

Justin Mosley is a multi-instrumentalist musician born and raised in Santa Cruz, California, whose work lives at the intersection of healing and sound. Through gong, didgeridoo, harp, flute, bass, and more, he weaves immersive soundscapes that move the body through tension into stillness and open inner space. As one half of the Lovebyrds, Justin brings years of experience holding sound healing containers, guiding listeners through deep, textured journeys shaped by presence as much as skill. His music has been described as transporting, carrying people across tempos, timelines, and inner landscapes in a single sitting.

Meet Your Muscian

Joining us for this ceremony will be the Laya Gongs of Adron Beene, a classically trained musician and Viniyoga practitioner whose gong work is rooted in ancient Vedic sound tradition. Adron lives on a small sheep ranch in an oak forest, and that same grounded, natural rhythm carries through into his playing. His gongs create a full body immersion in calming, resonant frequencies, inviting deep release and a state of tranquility often described as "Gong Land." Come ready to lie back, breathe, and let the sound move through you.
